2026 Scholarship Program Information

★ Scholarship Eligibility:

• Current high school seniors who will enroll in post-secondary study for the Fall 2026 semester, and plan to pursue a Computer Science-related field
• Students must submit an original CodeHS program
• Students must submit both the application form and a letter of recommendation, to be considered

★ 10 Scholarship Recipients Will Receive:

• A $1,000 grant to support their first year of post-secondary education expenses
• Opportunities to network and build community with other “CodeHS Scholars” and CodeHS team members, via virtual meetups

★ Timeline:

• March 2nd, 2026: CodeHS Scholarship Application Opens
• May 20th, 2026: Applications and Letters of Recommendation due at 11:59PM CT
• Summer 2026: CodeHS Scholarship winners announced
• 2026-2027 School Year: CodeHS Scholars will participate in virtual meetups and programming throughout their freshman year

How to Apply for the 2026 CodeHS Scholarship: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Complete the CodeHS Scholarship Application Form at codehs.com/studentscholarshipapplication
2. Create at least one program in the CodeHS Sandbox and link it to your application (directions can be found here)
3. Upload a letter of recommendation directly to your application, or ask a teacher to email the letter to [email protected]. To be considered, letters must be on school letterhead. Length should be at least one paragraph, and no longer than 500 words
