📘 The CodeHS Scholarship is designed to support high school seniors who plan to continue studying computer science and related majors at the post-secondary level.

The 2024 application window is now closed. All applicants will receive an update with the status of their submission, this summer
★ Scholarship Eligibility:
- Current high school seniors who will enroll in post-secondary study for the Fall 2024 semester, and plan to pursue a Computer Science-related field
- Students must submit an original CodeHS program
- Students must submit both the application form and a letter of recommendation, to be considered
★ 10 Scholarship Recipients Will Receive:
- A $1,000 grant to support their first year of post-secondary education expenses
- Opportunities to network and build community with other “CodeHS Scholars” and CodeHS team members, via virtual meetups
★ Timeline:
- February 26, 2024: CodeHS Scholarship Application Opens
- May 20, 2024: Applications and Letters of Recommendation due at 11:59PM CT
- June 2024: CodeHS Scholarship winners announced
- 24-25 School Year: CodeHS Scholars will participate in virtual meetups and programming throughout their freshman year
★ How to Apply:
- Complete the CodeHS Scholarship Application Form at codehs.com/studentscholarshipapplication
- Create at least one program in the CodeHS Sandbox and link it to your application (directions can be found here)
- Upload a letter of recommendation directly to your application, or ask a teacher to email the letter to [email protected]. To be considered, letters must be on school letterhead. Length should be at least one paragraph, and no longer than 500 words
